Question about harassment or threats

My dad worked with a guy that said "don't piss me off or I'll go postal", he was fired on the spot & escorted out.

We had 2 guys one was laid off and given a severance check, said he was going to come back tomorrow and if wasn't bigger he was going to destroy the place. Police were waiting for him the next day when he came back.
Had a 19 yr kid that wanted his paycheck early because he had been out on a personal injury. HR agreed to do it but she wasn't moving fast enough for him and he ran his mouth. A kid being a stupid kid but I made an example out of him and fired him. If I didn't and he acted on what he said, the question would've been you had a warning.

Call the cops, call his place of business, get it on record, it more than like is him puffing his chest, but if it isn't, your ass is covered

I think the best thing to do is go talk to the police and get their opinion...

Best advice so far...I'd go that route because I'd be none too pleased with this guy having access to my personal information...too many weirdo's in this world.

Call the poilice and file a report so you have a paper trail documenting this in case anything ever does happen. Then, if it does, everything will go your way no problem. File a report and forget about it.

I'd lean more toward doing nothing but be prepared to take action if/when this guy approaches you again. It might not be a bad idea to consult with the police and file a report so there is a paper trail. I wouldn't go to his employer quite yet, as that is looking for trouble (which this guy was clearly doing, but I wouldn't advise you do it too).

Yeah he seemed to be dancing around that question, I gave up asking as he doesn't want to disclose that for some reason and being vague about it.

Whether it's at a park or a s supermarket
The fact is he saw me and waited and then came specifically to me when I was st least 25-30 feet from him

Anyways I'm going to go that route I will stop by the police station today and then I'll file any kind of report just for reference.
I was going to do it the next day but didn't know his last name I went thru my paperwork and finally found his last name

I would have clocked out of work, went on break, developed a sudden cough. Whatever, so I wouldn't have been at work anymore... I don't agree with today's philosophy of calling the cops, reports, whatever. You threaten me, you'd better be prepared to take action now. When I was growing up kids were taught to bully the bully. None of this mamby pamby run away and cry crap. You leave all the control in his hands. I guess if you're not physically able to defend yourself then that's another story.

Those days are over. Don't expect to slam someone up and you aren't shelling out some cash for it. Bullying is a hot topic and you don't want to be a part of it.
