I just had my split bumpers re chromed. The place that did them told me that I should paint the inside. What do you guys think and what kind of paint should I use. Here are a few pics. Thanks. Bumpers 1.jpg Bumpers 2.jpg

If there not going to get wet they will be fine but if not the best thing to do would be to tape off the chrome and spray them in black epoxy primer, por15 will also work but I prefer the epoxy

I painted my full bumper inside first with Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer and coated with Rustoleum Silver. Good for life. The back side of these bumpers collect a lot of moisture for some reason.

Thanks for the input. I guess I will prime and paint them. I never drive the car in the rain but I wash it. The guy that did the chrome told me not to wash the car. Just to give a good wax and then use a good detailing spray with a micro fiber cloth. That is also something I have to look into

    I wiped the outside with WD40 first,then I used POR15 on the inside,brushed.
