Question for judges on wraps

    I am considering putting a clear plastic wrap on the parts of the car that might receive rock chips. The car will be driven limited miles. It is correct and should qualify for legend judging. Will the judges take off points for the wrap?

    Yes, if you are going for that form of judging.

    Yes. The reason is we judge the car "as it would have been when it left the factory" and for that reason, a wrap would be a points deduction. With that being said, once the judging is done, add all the wraps you want. ;)

    I think there should be a rule where the judges can make surprise "spot inspections" unannounced day or night. Anywhere, anytime!:)
