For those interested in cowl and ram air hoods, this is the hood that Eric of MPD1 Motorsports is building for me as of this writing, I've been looking for something different for a long time and then I came across the Passionately Pink Camaro that was built and donated for cancer research, it was an interesting project that several companies donated their time and products to see this build through, Eric of MPD1 was one company that got on board and donated his time, I waited for a long time to see if MPD1 was going to produce that same hood and then I decided to call MPD1 and Eric explained that the hood on PP Camaro was the only one built, the hood that Eric is building for me will involve several changes, mostly to the underside, the plan is to make this hood functional which will be up to me to figure out when I get the hood on the car and see how everything will line up with the Ls intake.

Here's a couple of pics of the underside starting to take shape!

Yes similar, there were other scoops as well in the seventies.

That is the hood we have all been waiting for. If I had not already bought a Harwood Pro touring hood
I would buy one. That hood will sell like hotcakes!

There were similar hood scoops on the IMSA /SCCA race cars back in the 70`s You will probably add some bracing similar to a GlasTek hood to make it a bolt on hood.

Here's another pic of the PP Camaro in a different paint scheme, I sure wouldn't be to terribly upset if I found this in my driveway!!!

Not quite sure I understand but I'll give it a shot, the hood will be fully finished on the underside with framework and will be a bolt on, it will function as OEM, here's a pic of the framework, hope that helps.

Are you going offer "light" and or some sort of strut system. Then maybe a basic cold air box for your customers? It might help you sell more.

Good question, I'll either modify my original hinges or go with an aftermarket design.
