I happened to pick up a 1979 camaro Z28 "clone" the other day for a parts car.

I have been unable to decipher the rear axle stamped code on the front of the passenger side axle tube with the references on this site.

    2PT G013 or a C013

Can anyone help me out? I havent pulled the rearend out of it to get the numbers off the diff and there is no Diff tag

The car has been pieced together from a variety of different models, body tag doesn't match the cars original paint or Z28 claim, has a very unique variety of colors and styles of interior, and the list goes on and on. But hey, Parts are parts right? all usable once you find the application.

Hope so, but then again the guy made a couple of comments on how difficult it was to put the rear end in that it leads me to believe its a high probability that it's pulled from something else.
