Rear frame rail....

    ...is finally out of there.

    Not terribly difficult it's just hard to find a few hour block of time.

    Now I need to clean up those leftover spot weld dimples and test fit the new rail.

    Phat, I removed most of the rail leaving just the spot welded flange.
    This was important around the shock tower because I couldn't identify the welds from the outside. I still don't see how the factory spot welded that part of the rail.

    There are quite a few spot welds at the spring perch/ torque box area. With most of the rail cut away I could look inside and outside to identify.

    I'm closing in on this frame rail repair ( forward section). It looks like I may need some of the floor in that area too.

    It's really difficult to see just how things are put together. Where did you find your frame rail? I tried AMD, no luck.

    EDIT: Just looked at your pix again. Mine is rotted right at the front, the part is on your hoist, and the heavier steel around it.
