My car sits about a 1/2” lower on the rear driver side then the passenger side. I originally thought it was weight of driver over 40 years but I swapped out the rear springs and it sits the same. I thought maybe the torque of the motor twisted the body but I know a guy who’s car sits about a 1/2” higher on the rear driver side. Underneath everything looks normal. Frame is within 1/8” square and level with the body. Front is identical height on both sides. No one notices it but of course I know its there so it drives me nuts. Is this a result of sloppy tolerances from the factory? Anyone know whats going on here?

How’s the front look? Did you tighten the suspension with weight on the vehicle? What I would do is remove the shocks, loosen the spring hardware and let it settle with weight on the car then re-tighten. Honestly I would lightly drive on it around the block with the hardware loosened and no shocks. That’s just me.

do you have a picture of how the car sits? There are different ways to do so .Like springs and different tire diameter front and bank.

on a level surface, if you look at the car from behind can you notice the lean? If it doesn't, and it doesn't wear tires, I don't think I'd worry about it.

Brand new leaf springs, bushings, shocks...drivers side still sits lower. Frustrating!

Yup. Very. Im taking it in for some bodywork next year so ill be running it by them. If there is a problem, they will find it. Based on the fact others are reporting the same issue, I think our cars were made on a Friday afternoon...
