Hi, I have the rear window out of my '78 and need to a couple of small repairs. What I'm unsure of is what people do about the little trim clip pegs? I can avoid most but one or two are on bits I need to replace. 91003292_700306134040245_6151129776238100480_n.jpg

Just use screws, you can get them when you buy new clips. They come with sealer on them.

I've used the screw in kind.
In new sheet metal they work very well.

I use weld on ones and have used the screw in ones in the past. While the weld on ones are better IMO the reality is that most of these cars aren't put outside 24/7 after rebuild so the screw in ones will probably last a very long time.

I like the idea of weld in ones. especially as I'm in the UK, it's wet and I tend to drive the car a lot! Do you have a link?

Thanks for your help with this, I'm more used to working on European cars so this is new territory for me
