    You're looking for a new A/C compressor?

There are a couple of places which rebuild/restore your old A6 compressor but they are expensive.
(Unless the front seal is replaced with a double-lip seal, it will still leak oil out the front.)

You can buy a remanufactured A6 but reviews on rebuilt ones did not give me any confidence in that route.

A Sanden 508 is a less expensive compressor but they also requires different brackets, hose fittings and come with either a twin V-belt pulley or serpentine pulley.

You can get a Pro6ten which fits the factory brackets and can be used with R134a or R12.

    I went with the Pro6ten.

I am in the process of replacing my entire A/C system so I can't give you any reviews on it yet other than it uses the factory style hose manifold connection and fits the factory brackets.

The polished version looks nice and is half the weight of the iron A6.
