Recording a podcast

There are a couple of pod casts I'd like to listen to. However, my work is erratic on hours and my internet is as slow as molasses in January. Is there a way I can down load it and either play it off my computer or a thumb drive in the garage while working on a car? I have three laptop computers I can use. My regular one runs Windows 7. An annoying one runs Windows 8 and one the company gave me as an anniversary gift at 40 years runs Windows 10. I don't have a smart phone or wifi access.

Can I do it with the soft and hard ware I have or do I need to get something else.

If you use iTunes you can search and download from there. Smartphone? iPhones have a podcast app that you can download to. Plug the speakers into the headphone jack and listen away. Not sure about Android phones. There is also Podcast Alley website.

I'll look at podcast alley. However, I'm an olde pharte and don't have a smart phone. That's why I want to record and replay on the radio set up in the garage. It has two USB ports for thumb drives. I thought about getting a new phone and go with a smart phone but the one they recommended was $740 and I had to make payments, not just buy it. I kept my flip phone that's been paid for, for many years.
