    replaced door latch?
I finally got around to replacing the drivers door latch.
now that it is done,do I lube it or grease it or something?

yes, lightly grease it (white lithium works best but some dry lubes are easier to get into the working parts). It is more easily done with the latch out of the car so lube it before you install your replacement.

Was it repop latch? I would suspect that they would be shipped lubed to prevent rusting on the shelf. Personally I only ever serviced OE ones which either had gone dry over the years or needed to be thoroughly cleaned and relubed.
