First post, I am in the process of converting a '73 Sport Coupe from automatic to 4-speed, I have nearly everything to make the swap (Shifter Tunnel Hump, pedals, bell housing, etc), but have not bought a carpet kit, is one vendor better than another, does anyone offer the vinyl hump cover between the rear seat lowers?

I plan to use the '70 Low-back bucket seats, and would like the carpet to look right, should I use the loop or cut pile carpet?

The conversion includes a Super T-10 transmission 2.64 first gear, Hurst shifter, new pedal mechanism/Z-bar, etc, new early console. Trying to assemble what I believe are the best versions of the available options for a second-gen car.

I don't know who might sell the vinyl hump cover but as far as carpeting is concerned, ACC (auto custom carpet) is one of the major suppliers of carpeting to the old car hobby. A lot of the parts suppliers that sell auto carpeting sell ACC. I've had 3 sets of carpeting made by ACC and no problems. SMS in Oregon is another long time vendor of auto carpeting that has a good reputation.
Loop carpeting should be correct for a 70 and probably a 73 also.
