    Nothing is easy ever....geeze.

So, left door handle broken. Bought new one. Got door panel off. I see ONE nut holding the door handle on and the other one is tucked behind some metal, cant even see it.

What am I missing? Do I need to take the window out?

    Help.

    Eddie

Yes window needs to come out. You might be able to remove stop on window track and crank up higher and get room but it’s tight.

If you remove the interior panel, you can loosen the window stop at the bottom of the door and lower the window enough to access the two nuts.

I know I managed to do this without removing the window but it was over 30 years ago so I don’t remember much for details.

I did this last year. It was really tight I used a long extension and swivel but I got the second bolt out without removing window.

1/4 inch drive set with extension/ swivel might be easiest to weasel in the tight spot.

Hopefully, this video should help you to remove and replace your door handle.

I removed both outside handles without loosening or removing the windows.
    You can do it.
