Going to finally replace my RH door glass. Tired of looking at the scratched up mess. Seems like most dealers sell the same thing? Looking at Auto City Glass. Is it pretty close to the OE look and fit? About half the price of NPD glass and they seem to be a pretty big volume seller. Listed as factory green tint, is the original window actually a green tint? Don't need the numbers matching etching. Any experience with them?

A/C cars usually got tinted glass.

Hold a piece of white paper behind the glass and look through it to judge the color, if it’s tinted.

Got window this morning, super fast shipping. Spent the day getting the hardware off the old window and spend the day cleaning it, put on the new glass. Install went fine until rolled up the window and (slowly) tried to shut the door. I had marked all the bolt locations and put everything back in the same places. Glass looks to be curved too much in the front, the top front is way too deep inward, back is good . Had to leave it down an inch or so to get the door shut. Going to try to adjust but I doubt (?) there's any way to correct this. Old glass looked bad, but it fit perfect even with new sweep and rail seal a couple years ago. Glass is tagged PMK Diamond glass

I had similar issues but I put new door glass rollers and the 3 small felt sweeps on so I just contributed it to new stuff. It took me a while and lots of patience to get it dam close . Mine still won’t roll tight to the top while the door is shut if I roll it up. It seems to bind a bit on the rear pillar ( if u call it that) rubber . When I open my door , the window will move up a 1/8 and than if I close it , it’s snug. I’ve been leaving the windows closed in the sun and in the garage to hopefully rework the weather strip in.

Bottom line- I never thought about comparing the window curves to one another?

Spent the day adjusting. Found a good video on Youtube that showed a step by step for adjusting. Had to really move about all the adjustment points but did get a pretty decent setup. Big improvement! At least to me. Before and after.

Hey Tom, was it the outside or inside belt molding that did the scratches? Hard to tell from pictures...
Looks great, nice fit!
