Ive heard very good things about legendary covers, the biggest issue I had was the backlog and cost. I paid 200 for these covers from an individual in California, who claims they are TMI covers. After going through this rebuild, I would be curious to see what the differences are on Legendary covers. Overall, Id say these were good covers, but I did run into a few issues with them, but do not know whether my fitment issues were from my inexperience , or cushions too big or covers too small.

I physically compared the OEM upper cushions to the cushions I bought from classic industries and they are physically different in size, Im not sure if that is intentional or not. There is also a major difference in density of the foam. These are 50 year old cushions, so maybe thats what happens to foam. The original uppers are in very good shape, to make the comparison.

I've heard Legendary makes good standard interior covers, but the cover for the Custom-Deluxe interior are not technically correct and would really need to be installed as a complete set as the mismatch to the original material is easily seen. The original Comfort-Weave is material is a woven material and the Legendary (and others) material is an embossed vinyl, much like the process to make the standard seats. The comfort-weave material is available from SMS as a special order and is expensive and it took me 6 months for it to be available. Then you have to have an upholsterer stitch up the covers.
Not sure about the foams for the Deluxe interior. Any suggestions?
