Not in this lifetime, but maybe in the next one if I come back as a tree hugger.

533 hp / 800 lb-ft of torque is stout but I enjoy my wife’s complaints of the gas/oil smell in the garage way too much to ever swap to copper top! :bowtie:

In a few years that may be the only way you're allowed to drive your muscle car in California... lol

Imagine putting that same ~$30K into an actual small block chevy and transmission?

I just got done with a complete interior overhaul which included a new stereo and front/rear speakers. I'm thinking now I should have saved my money on the audio because I'd rather hear that small block sing all day long over anything else. A quiet electric motor would absolutely take away a bit of the hotrod experience.

I don't know the degree or timing, but it's coming.

I'm sure the flat head guys in the 40s thought the same. Hell, the LS everything crowd upsets the guys that run the engines that displaced the flathead. There's still guys that frown on OD transmissions lol.

The only constant in the world is change.
