If you look at the picture of the hinge you'll see round divots close to where the pin goes though the hinge. The divots are for a pin or a ball bearing with a spring or something that pushes down on it to sit in the holes to hold the door open. If you look at the second picture you can see two small screws that hold a cover and I'm sure if you took that off you would be able to see the pins/spring that will hold the door open.

Nice, but for that money I'll just rework mine with inserting drill bushings and a drill blank for the pin. I can upsize the components slightly and they will never wear out. At least it sounds simple......

I do have a set of these...I paid much less than $600 though...Anyone else got these installed? I should have swapped them when I had the fenders off, but I didn't....

I’m currently in the process of installing my set and have to say the design and resulting access to the Bolts on the door side portion of the hinge is a bit of a pain And has resulted in marring up the surface some Also, regarding the pillar side, have a bit of a hard time keeping the bolts centered in the grove to allow the socket to engage. The should last a longtime though once I get things figured out. One question I have though, do yours make a god awful screeching noise just prior to the When the ball reached the detente/indentations when opening and closing? I have not put any grease on the surface the ball rides on yet (would probably cure it), but am asking to make sure I haven’t messed something up. You encountering similar issues. Hanging these doors is a pain...ha/ha...

After reading Dave’s response I got a little concerned and went out and did a search. I did find similar observations In a review posted on a major aftermarket parts seller thaT mirrors my initial concerns...tough access to door side hung hardware and clicking noise when closing doors. I’m gonna call RB Monday morning to get their opinion.
