I can’t even actuate mine off the car. I plan to install mine with the fenders off. That way you can easily access the bolts to adjust.
Just re-read your post....you’re supposed to grease them? I see nothing in the instructions. Curious to hear what Marissa tells you.
Pulled out my man card...I was able to actuate the door hinges, they click due to the detents, but no screeching. But of course they are not installed.
Just talked to Travis at RB and he confirmed the noise is the detent ball riding along the guide and advised to put a little wheel grease on the guide track and it will go away. Will try after work. They are very stiff and hard to open when not installed on the car. Good sign...hope they last forever because hanging these doors is worse than any metal work I’ve done to date...ha/ha.
Curious, what do you have for a gap from the a-pillar to top of the door? My rear quarter above the rocker is shot and trying to get everything lined up to r&r the quarter.
