My buddy in San Antonio called me a few hours ago to tell me the sad news. One serious bad ass and poser disposer. He should be buried with his Ric bass.
I subscribed to World War 2 magazine, he was in there a few years ago, basically said he has one of the largest collections of WW2 artifacts.
It's hard to believe though, given the line of work he did that he lived as long as he did. He was in yahoo news a while back about not feeling well and couldn't do a show, it listed his age as 69, I was shocked he was that old.
Damn straight! I'm glad I got to see him as many times as I did here in Austin.
will be missed,R.I.P. lemmy
Hopefully you weren't at the last show at Emo's that they had to call off.
I'd want to remember seeing him shreading and not just kinda out there.
I'm happy to say I've only seen him at his best. I had tickets to the show at the Cedar Park Center but that was cancelled and moved to Emo's. I didn't buy the tickets and I'm glad I didn't.
Just caught this a few minutes ago... we're losing all the good ones.
Sucks suck sucks...
Most hard core of the hard core.
Make me want to break open my clean bottle of Bookers and crank up the stereo.
He'll be missed.
Just shocked to hell he made it to 70...R.I.P. Lemmy, you were one tough son of a bitch.
