Hi Brent! my intake is a regular performer. I didnt check that but I suspect the plunger is too long or the rubber gasket in the plunger came off. What are you thinking of?What intake manifold are you using Frank? The gasket should not be leaking, be careful not to over tighten it. With the float bowl full, can you manually (with engine off) work the throttle and see the accelerator pump squirt?
I'm just thinking that if you used a square bore intake with a spread bore (QJet) carb, you will have gasket issues, and the secondaries won't have room to open.Hi Brent! my intake is a regular performer. I have a Performer RPM spread bore intake, and it says right on it "RPM QJet". When I switched to a 4150 base carb, I had to use an adapter for it to seal properly. I just can't remember if your intake is a spread bore or not.
