I am trying to figure out the routing of the harness off the top of the fuse block that feeds the column and then mounts to the firewall above the accelerator.
I have a 70 SS and it looks like this harness runs over the top of the bracket that holds the steering column and runs back to the firewall supporting the brake and clutch. Can't see how to access the top side of this bracket up near where the column bolts. Does the bracket drop down if you remove the brake and clutch assemblies? Or is there another way to route this harness?
The assembly manual diagram is not clear as to wear this routes. Just shows where the harness snaps into the bracket mounted on the frame and then shows a j-hook clip that I just can't see.

The answer is sort of yes. Pedals don't need to come off. Loosen bolts at firewall, remove clips from bolts that support column bracket, drop it down, feed the harness.
