I used to track Bears over 30 years ago when we were on patrol up by the Aleutians.
They would fly all the way down to the states, turn around and go home.
Sometimes they would even get froggy and go active.

Well if my country don't think the way I do, why are they letting the Russians keep playing their game then? Because that's all they do, they play.
Gary Powers was deep inside Russian airspace in a spyplane. Not comparable at all and noone could argue why they shot it down.

Here's a normal day on the job for Norwegian fighter pilots, that's what cool headed and good leadership do, they intercept and keep cool unless the intruder does an act of war. Most are in international airspace but they have also intercepted inside Norwegian airspace many times. Russians like to stretch their feet, so what. So does the US. Russians also like to play around here with the transponder turned off and full radio silence. That would put your panties in a twist wouldn't it. Got many more of these photos online.

Now remember, Norway is a NATO country and has been a NATO country since the alliance was formed in 1949.

These little skirts with countries "airspace" have been happening since the end of WWII. Do you really think that the US has NEVER skirted Russian airspace? We do it all the time.

Remember the SR-71 Blackbird?? That plan used to fly over Russian airspace all the time and when the Russian's launched fighter's to escort it away the SR-71 just went supersonic and took off.

It's a cat and mouse game that been going on for decades and it doesn't mean war.

    More boob pics!!!!

I'd disagree. We have the technology to NOT do it anymore.

The Soviets have been getting more aggressive this decade. I still think their end goal is as it has been, global domination.

I remember those days all to well " The Cold War Era " I was stationed at MCAS El Toro in the early 80's and remember a couple times having fighters scramble towards the Pacific for intercepts
