He he... I stepped on the scale yesterday and weigh exactly what I did when I graduated HS in 1976! 120#. Never weighed more than 125#and I don't skimp on the pizza and beer neither!
He he. I never thought of that career opportunity! Have to look into it! In my career in the machine/Diesel Engine industry I've spent most of my days picking up parts that weigh half as much as *I* do and moving them around. Never met a bolt or nut I couldn't break loose either. Plus I can get into places most guys can't, fix the damn thing, and get out while they're trying to figure out how to take it apart! I have actually lifted a bare 350 block and got it on a pallet (I *was* younger then). I don't ride motorcycles anymore. Doing the ragdoll once was enough for me!
I did my class A apprenticeship under a guy like you. Tiny dude, but with gigantic ability and heart. He could swing an 8 pound sledge harder and more accurately than anyone. Confidence out the a$$ and super diagnostic mind. My youngest is now an apprentice heavy equipment mechanic with Toromont, just started his first 2 week rotation at a remote minesite.
