    I found it in one of my MOTOR REPAIR Manuals, 41st edition.
    CKH 1973 -1977 Chevy Nova, 8-350

    '77 Nova makes sense with the blue paint.

    The 3970010 says it is a 350. The partial VIN says it is from a 1977 car.

    What does that translate to? Could it be D287?

    joined? huh must of changed formats . you used to just go on and look up your casting #. I guess I'll have to hop back on and check it out
