Looking at these two seats from Cerullo: upload_2020-11-11_9-11-20.png or: upload_2020-11-11_9-15-17.png

The red one more closely suits the era of the car, but the black one looks more performance oriented. My interior and current seats are red, so regardless of which seat I go with, it will be red. Just looking for opinions on which style.

My current seats are in great shape, but too bouncy and slippery and with no lateral support. The new ones come with brackets made to fit, reclining backs and still flip forward like stock.

I'm not ruling out finding my own seats out of donor cars, but they would still need to be re-covered and I would have to modify my brackets to fit.

Cerullo seems super nice to deal with and very helpful. Anybody use their stuff?
And yes, if anyone has a red Z28 grille badge, I'm missing one...

I would choose the red seat since it reminds me of the 69 seats with the headrest. The black reminds me of a race seat where the harness would go through the holes. Not for me.

They make the black one without the harness holes as well. I had the same thought. But ya, the GT seat (red one) is a better match and still has modern support. They can also match the same stitching pattern as my seats.

Watching this thread. Let us know what you go with, been playing around in the North GA Mountains and thinking some lateral support would go a long way in understanding how good or bad my car actually handles. Like the look of those Procar Elites on Summit.

Curious what you go with and how the seat height works out. Pretty happy with my 4th gen seats but they’re clapped out and the wrong color.

I bet procar seats would sit lower with better brackets, but I’m afraid to spend that much and find out that’s not the case.
