I am getting ready to re-do the front suspension on my 80'.
For the time it is going to be up in the air and out of commission, I was going to pull the Holley 750 off, and ship it to PA so my buddy can do a rebuild for me. He is a wiz with carbs.

So....any tips/tricks or do's/don't do's I should know about shipping a carb that has had gas through it?

I will pull it, empty out the bowls....let it sit for a few days.
I have some heavy gauge plastic bags I will wrap it in before putting in the box.
Just looking for some things I may have not though about.

    thanks!!

Yep, let it sit upside down for a day or so, should get all gas out of the bowls. Secure it in the box with those air bag thingy's or it will bounce around quite a bit.
