So yesterday I went on a road trip to see my old boss, this is the guy that I apprenticed to so many years ago, I had to take my son, just to get him out of the house, he are a few photos of the trip, and yes it is summer down here
Reminds me of being in Christchurch in the Navy (Operation deep freeze). I convinced a few guys to rent a car and drive out across the country. One year me and a buddy went toward Pigeon bay and drove around all the bays. Beautiful area. On our drive across the country we stopped at a little pub pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. Drank a beer, threw some darts. Pulling out of the pub (only had one beer....really), I pulled into the right hand lane like I would do in the states, here were where out in the middle of nowhere and there were 3 cars coming head on at me. Made it out of that safely, somehow. everytime I drove in the city I just said "left turns are easy, left turns are easy".
