4 days without a cigarette for me BUT I stil use snuff on occasion. Losing weight that I have carried around for 40 years was easier than breaking this addiction. By most scientific accounts, no matter how much you used to smoke or use, nicotine clears the blood stream in 48 hours. . .that means that the rest is in our head and THAT, my friend, is the challenge.

Keep at it! U can do IT!

I'm sticking with it. I will do this. I am a creature of pure willpower and purpose.
    My determination is solid.

Actually I feel about as determined as a soggy potato chip.:whine:

    QUIT!!!
before the Decepticon's rule your life forever!!!

I quit smoking 7 or so years ago.
now I have one on occasion when I'm socially drinking.
I have zero issues going without them, and I never want to smoke again.

My advice, don't drink any booze as it is a HUGE trigger for me.

3 days and your body is empty of nicotine ...after that its mental ...in about two weeks your cravings will cut down significantly ....a month... you will pretty much not care about smoking...I quit almost a year ago...it gets easier, and I smoked for 15 years, very heavily in the last few years. You can do it!

My dad quit smoking about 5 years ago, he sat there and watched his dad die of lung cancer and this was his biggest motivation! When my grandpaw was laying there knowing he was going to die he regretted not doing all the things he wanted to do. He gave my dad one good last word of advice "Dont wait on doing the things you dream of doing, because before you know it you will be laying here in this bed like I am regretting all of it".I know ive kind of got off topic but thought that might keep you going a little in the right direction.
