See ?? Now how long have you been taking medications just to support your body's ability to survive while smoking ?? That's something to strongly consider in your mental perception of smoking that should help you stay away. So many people in society today could live longer and happier if they exercised daily and didn't smoke. But Dr's are more then willing to prescribe a pill for any of our poor health choices instead. Profits to be made off stupid decisions.
Keep it up and stay with it, don't have "just one" ever again. You will have ton more $$ to spend on the Camaro or nice vacation. Your doing great!!!!
48 hrs now. Scalp crawling, dry mouth, and the urge to eat everything in site (which I am resisting). I think the physical symptoms are supposed to end after 48-72 hours? Also couldn't sleep last night but having a hard time staying awake tonight.
Got skittles. Eating them one at a time. I'm on my 3rd 52 oz mug of weak unsweetened ice tea. Dr. said it would help flush the nicotine out so I'm drinking so much I slosh when I walk!
Doing great, get some gum or mints, another side effect I had fkr several mknths and also some of my friends that quit is weird dreams while trying to sleep, I mean wierd bizzare like being on acid. Hang in there it is well worth it!!! Wes
Well, 4 days now. Thje physical symptoms seem to be subsiding but the psychological battle is in full swing!
Sounds like a good time for a nice hour-long walk,get your mind off of it and get healthy at the same time. The further away you get from smoking health-wise,the less likely you'll ever want to light one up again...it'll make you ill.
