Shouldn't you have them deliver and install it so you don't drop it on your foot and break the engine & your foot???

At least you were smart enough to have a buddy do it for you, or either your foot, engine or both would be broke!!!!

This post is kinda discriminatory. "Fast" is not only about drag racing, although 5.40 in the 1/8 is sure as hell hauling the mail (over short distances). For example, if David Freiburger were a member here, he would probably have the fastest 2nd gen, having run 251 mph at Bonneville in the Hot Rod Special Camaro. Maybe we have a member who breaks records at standing mile events. That's fast. Maybe we have a member whose track day car harasses the heck out of Viper GTR owners. That's fast.

All the drag and land speed cars are a pleasure to behold for sure. For me and many of the car owners on this site a NastyZ is first of all a classic Camaro one can drive anywhere in comfort, show the world what these cars look and sound like and fast enough to make it a rush to do it.

Exactly, you are completely on the ball!!!
One bad day at the track and I'm wishing I didn't have a 6-7-8 second car and miss jumping in and heading to the pizza joint!!!!
Then it wears off, and I'm back filling N2O bottles and going back again!!!

My joke is I could own an island with what I spent on my racing.
Sometimes when writing a 20-30-40,000 dollar check I wonder how they don't put all of us racers in a straight jacket!!!!

I'm sure all racers have non-racing friends that tell them they are nuts,
I know when they found out I paid $100,000 for my car they sure did!!!

Mine started as an 11 sec street car......I do miss those days.....I'm pretty sure I'd trade mine rt now for a 12 sec street car.
