    Awesome band...

A guy at work turned me onto these guys.. If you like the Allman Bros, the Dead.. etc..
they have a fusion jazz kind of slant.. like Little Feat.. but heavy into southern blues guitar.

you are in for a treat if you have never heard of Widespread Panic...

I texted Brian back and called him an enabler..lol lol lol:screwup:

    enjoy!!;)

    Brian's response..
"It happens to a lot of people. If you like Rock and Roll there is no way you cannot love Panic!"

ETA.. he joined the site last week as whypanic...

From right here in ATHENS, GA!!! I've seen them at the GA Theater and all I can say, they rock nonstop from beginning to end of the show.

Downtown Athens, GA on April 18, 1998 when they released their "Light Fuse, Get Back" album. Estimated about 100,000 showed up and basically took over the city.

they play here Tuesday night.. I may be calling in..lol:innocent:

you do realize the lead guitar played with both Lynyrd and the Allman Bros... right?
he was all upset about playing more notes than Dickey Betts...
