Lol....Chase Doak, the guy in Montana who found it... I think his life is going to get a lot more difficult.

The government was just going to try to shrug this off like so many other crises until they get embarrassed by media coverage.

What do you bet he gets an IRS audit and who knows what else?

If anything like that happens he will be an instant Fox News star. That would keep this in the news for a long time. I suspect WH is looking for any new distraction that will make headlines and have this incident eliminated from the news cycle.

Because Canada did not shoot it down. Apparently was not worthy. Never know might be a Rona trial just to see how they can steer a delivery system.

Maybe the Chinese were spying on the huge Russian build up just north of
Alaska and the balloon went off target?

i would think if there was no mal intent the chinese would have at least notified who ever that they were flying junk. A few of these have been seen before. One just over south america.
