I read somewhere else - one of those "unnamed military sources" - that we got more info from monitoring the balloon, than China could have got from spying on us with it. Can't find that link, though.

The Chinese have been stealing American tech for decades. This ‘balloon’ was only a test to see how far they can push us. Check out how many thousands of them are being educated here. Nothing to see there lol.
