For the last 10 plus years I kept saying how cool looking that combination was , wow was I ever wrong !!!

I just put a full bumper back onto my 72 Camaro a little while ago and it looks awesome with the shiny chrome reflecting off my argent silver 70-71 grille !!! . I tried to take a couple pics but it's to dark but promise to take a pic tomorrow

I can't believe it took this long to put the correct bumper back on . Now deciding if I want to put the SS emblem back on the grille or go to a black grille

Bout time you came to your senses! J/k to each his own. Real RS if born with is awesome otherwise, for me, full bumper, just opinion though, there is no accounting for taste.

Everybody has their own preferences, and you just found yours. But, you can get a lot of different opinions on this board about what looks best. As long as you are happy with your car, it is the right way.

Right on. My taste doesn't dig the split bumper. Even the "real" ones.

Yeah, don't forget the pics, Chuck. My car is a straight bumper car too, although reassembly is a ways off yet. So, I want to see what you're pumped up about. My sort of busted up grill has an argent surround, but the center looks black.

Your '72 is the Motion clone, isn't it?

It was a big decision , I almost went with fiberglass bumpers but went with Classic Industries " standard replacement series " bumper . Their OER series bumper was a little to expensive
