Steering column plate to firewall bolts?

    Oops good point. 1971 Camaro. But I think the same for all 2nd Gens.

    Yeah I don't know the thread size...maybe 1/4-20". I might have a screw Ill go look.

    Its more of a sheetmetal screw not a standard thread size. The closest thread gauge is a 7/16 - 14 but again its not a standard thread size. 20201004_165327-1.jpg

    Doesn’t the screw thread into a welded nut on the firewall?

    That is correct they do screw into a nut plate.
