Steering links hitting

I just installed proforged tie rods,drag link and idler arms to a 78 camaro Z28, but the inner tie rids hit on the driver's side. Any ideas on what the cure is? I flipped the drag link and it seems to clear everything, but still not correct.

Well i went with Moog fit good. By chance is that steering box something other that the stock one? pitman arm looks to be too close to the frame.

Here is a couple shots of mine. Drag link looks to have a deeper bend to it.

I think my draglink is incorrect looking at yours. I'll search again for the right one. Its the factory box 78 z28, the pitman arm is also factory. Basically it was all fine before I swapped to proforge links, so the issue has to be with the links

May want to try Automotive Supply in Appleton if you go the Moog route. When i bought my stuff they had everything in stock.

Measure center to center of the pitnam arm. It looks too long to me.

There are at least 2 different drag links. My guess is you picked the wrong one.

Yeah unless it's actually entirely wrong, that looks like the Camaro 6-cyl/Firebird center link which uses a shorter and offset pitman arm. I've gone to purchase a Firebird center link and ended up with a Camaro one so it wouldn't surprise me to see the opposite happen.
