Sub frame bushing/ body mounts

The shorter bushings also make it a PITA to get the trans crossmember in and out. They were in my 73 when I bought it.

I staid with standard height bushings, I don't have the under hood clearance to play with. My front suspension has Custom Works 2" lowering springs. All is good.

Lower frame bushings also make it so you have to readjust your body panels. Huge pita if your car isn't already apart

If you have your car taken apart, haven't painted it yet and still need to gap it, it's a good way to lower your car

But if your car is already put together, not really

Im a little confused so apologize for this.. so if I want to lower an inch or two I can just get lower bushings? Wouldnt that just lower the front?

Lowering the body on the frame lowers the car, but obvisously you can only make a small difference when compared to lowering the frame.

Less of the subframe is visible from the side view, but IMHO the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Agree w/xten^^ , and to get the most out of this mod, lower the engine in the cradle.

I've got a set of Custom Works subframe bushings.....new, never installed. If you want them I'll take $80 for them.
