I have also used Alston Racing with great success. If I was ever to buy another bolt in connector, I would probably go with Hotchkis

I have a DSE set that I am trying to sell , I went with PTFB’s set and they arrived in a couple of days and they look nice and will be easy to install, I love the DSE concept , however I cannot weld and the price of others to do it were crazy

    Short answer is yes.

Rule of thumb for a unibody car is that any time you increase the engine output, you will get more twisting of the body. This can crack paint. It can also crack the weld between the roof and top of the quarter panel.

They can affect the handling of the car too.

That's Chris Alston's Chassis Works, an entirely different company based in a different state. Not affiliated in any way

I installed the Hotchkis connectors, no floor pan mods necessary and the most low profile I could find.
Can be bolted in but I welded mine in. The have worked very well for me.

As mentioned previously im running competition engineering bolt in subframe connectors that are also welded in . I also had a 8 point cage installed and one of the tubes on ea side of the main hoop is welded to the subframe connectors . Also to further stiffen up the chassis the front bars are tied into the front subframe
