the internet is full of resources, you buy depending on what works best
the moment your cart is over $100 i typically go to summit
anything below that, I will go somewhere else that fits what I need

I will also 100% stand by their customer service, the hood scoop I "need" for my car was no longer made, and they did not have the manufacture on record for low level employees, but god damn did they go above and beyond, they hunted down who they were, and gave me their contact info so I could see if they had some in their warehouse still and I was lucky enough to buy the last 3 ever produced from them. If it wasn't for their customer service I would not have the part I need.

I have never had an order less than $100 from Summit. lol. Never had one problem with a return. If I order before 3:30 PM, it's here the next day, unless otherwise specified. Another big thumbs up for Summit.

Still the case recently? I Live 3 hours way from the GA Summit...Order today...doesnt ship until PM the next day (over 24 hours later), then it comes a day after that. 3 days...the UPS/FEDEX/USPS is so on my last nerve.

Unfortunately, all the shippers are getting hit with surcharges and increases in shipping. Between the volume, reduction in capacity and generally upheaval in logistics, it's going to get worse. Everybody is buying online and the system only has a certain amount of capacity.

I have not ordered anything since all this crap started, so I don't know. But I live about 2 1/2 hrs from the Ohio store. We do make the trip occasionally, so something to consider. I just hate walking into their showroom. Sort of a "Toys Are Us" for gear heads so I usually end up spending a lot more than I planned for stuff I didn't know I needed or wanted.

I just checked on the thumb drive I ordered. It took a tour of California, then went to Honolulu, then Alaska, back to California, back to Honolulu, took a vacation there for a bit, then back to Alaska, now it's in Hawaii again and has been since the 22nd.
