    Hi guys,

I want to upgrade my suspension of the 73.

    plans

    Beef up stock arms
Better bushings ? ( but what PU or Steel ? )
    qa1 coilovers
    tall upper ball joints

I read alot of good things of the delrin bushes but they are damn expensive.
i have to build the whole car so if i can save a bit...

get bushings from ptfb or customworks and never look back

While you're at it, get a subframe connector as well, those two things will improve your car immensely

If you can swing it, I'd ditch the stock upper arms and get some tubular arms... they'll allow you to dial in more caster which will improve handling and steering feel.

I got my uppers from Performance Online. Very inexpensive and they work great. They come with bushings already installed and with grease fittings.

Agreed with SPG... subframe connectors are another good add, as well as a set of the G-braces. These three things will completely transform the feel of the car.

so much difference between stock with taller joint and solid bushing ?

it adds up another 400 in stead of make stock better ( i live in the netherlands so shipping and taxes )

i can order those true atech motorsports ( summit wholesale )
    7081TCA-UKB

You can use the stock clamshell motor mount, but use a new polyurethane insert. Cheap to buy and they really take all the slop out of the engine. Much less movement out of the motor/trans. I also added a polyurethane trans mount which completes the tight feel.

Another vote for customworks bushings. Really worth the cost.

I would look to Global West. You can find everything on Summit.
