Maybe it's just because I'm getting older, but anymore, TV shows suck.

It's all either reality crap or listening to how 100's of people suck at cooking, singing or dancing. I think I'm just going to cancel our cable. I can tether internet from my phone and all I ever manage to watch is reruns, and I can watch those online for free.

I'm only a fan of three...NCIS, though I don't like the new female or her character she brings to the show, the Big Bang Theory (That took a few shows to understand the jist) and any hockey game I can watch.

You sound like a crotchety old man who blurts things w/o actually looking! lol I like Chicago fire, elementary and person of interest. Law & Order SVU is ok. I still find neat stuff on history and discovery and such. Like the Aerial America series. Some good car shows out there. Reality Rides is a new one I like. Top Gear on BBC America. I'm sure there are more that I don't see because I don't watch a lot of tv.

I'm watching ME TV tonight. The old shows are better than whatever they dream up today.

I ditched cable 2 years ago. Like you, I rarely found anything worth watching. And certainly not worth the $50-$150 that people pay a month for it. We got netflix and Roku players. Kids have all the cartoons they can handle with netflix for $8/mo. We rarely watch TV. It's a time suck IMO.

I pay $9 a month for netflix and get HULU free. Any TV I do watch is those 2 'networks' and I get them both through my XBox 360.

    I don't watch enough TV to justify spending $150 / month ($1800/Year)

I ditched dish Tv last year, bought 2 winegard digital HD antennas and I get all 4 major networks, tons of local programs, ION, and a few others 25-30 channels all HD all free. it was a bit of a step down from dish tv 250 channel package but we find ourselves doing more family stuff together and not just vegging out.
