Templates? for drilling Fender Emblem Holes

    I would LOVE to know if anyone has the correct (original) measurements or maybe a picture diagram that explains where to locate the holes in the fender for SS, and 350 emblems for my 72 RS SS

    they put new quarters on this car, and did not drill any holes, instead they shaved off the pins on the emblems, forcing me to go buy new emblems

    I don't want to end up with a crooked S, that would just be horrible....
    and just incase I"m sure everyone with Z28 emblems , etc, etc, would like to see placements for theirs as well....

    Best documentation I've seen for this is in the factory assembly manual.
    It has all the measurements. (I had to deal with this on my '72 SS as well)
    I don't know of any template, but with the info in the assembly manual, you could make a template.

    Those measurements are not easily read unless youre a rocket scientist.lol
    I usually use the proportion method and make my own cardboard template.

    Here is the diagram from a 71, it should be the same, also this is a good manual to have as it will help you out with mechanical & electrical problems
