I think the reveal is very premature, and I think that's the point. Musk wants to desensitize people to thinking WAY outside the box. It's not something I would buy, but I applaud Tesla for doing something different. Pick-up truck styling today is as boring as can be. No wonder classic trucks like C-10's and Apaches are so hot now.

Looks like the results of a DeLorean having humped a Tonka truck.

That's the first thing I thought of was, crappy science fiction movie vehicle prop. Who did they get to design it, Marlee Matlin?

I thought it was a joke when i saw the first pics. And then the demo...this has to be an epic troll. Some sort of billionaire level joke.

    An expensive joke...

Musk lost $768,000,000 of his net worth yesterday after the "reveal" of his new toy truck.

Somehow, I think the joke is on him.

    FWIW department...

His net worth could be taking another hit as Musk has been ordered to stand trial for calling the British cave explorer a "pedo guy". Musk tried to claim it was just a "throwaway" insult. Evidently the judge didn't consider the multiple tweets and comments about Vernon Unsworth a simple "throwaway" insult.

Musk ego got in the way again because Unsworth wasn't going to sue, but Musk kept up his attacks and dared Unsworth to sue him.

Musk thinks his wealth allows him to do anything he wants.

Didn’t need that big ball to break the glass, some spark plug porcelain would’ve done the trick

When I'd have a bad day at the junkyard I used to run, I'd go out back after closing with a hand full of lug nuts and a sling shot. I'd shoot the windows out of cars on the crush pile. It was quite cathartic.

Really? I don't know very many folks who have lost over 3/4's of a billion dollars in one day.
