I know there is a way to view the pictures by using Google Chrome as your browser. I can see them when I use Chrome but I can not see them when using Safari. If I remember correctly you may have to enable something in Chrome to make it happen but it is doable. Google it and I am sure you will find what you need to view. Good luck.

I don't know if I've heard of modifying to eliminating passing gear cable. You can just not connect the cable, it won't hurt anything, you just won't have the down shift, or passing gear. Are you thinking about a manual shift valve body, where you have to manually shift into each gear?

I see some on the Auto shows (Roadkill), don't hook it up. Crazy things they do.

I thought there may have something there that was beneficial.

My question is: would it still down shift like usual?

I have a 79 turbo 350 to build up. I've built a few in past years.

When you come to a stop, it will take back off in 1st gear. The governor will function as normal, but if you want 3rd - 2nd for passing, you'll have to shift manually.
