During a hunt at a Christmas tree farm in western Wisconsin…

I found D.B. Cooper!

I had never been to a “kill-your-own” Christmas tree farm but it was actually kind of fun.

Yes… They name all of the trees which are for sale.

THOUSANDS of them!

The tree was the right size and I couldn’t resist getting a tree named after the guy whom the FBI could never find.

Do any of you cut your own trees?

I've done it in the past, my kids enjoyed it. Hit chocolate in the office area, trudge in the snow to find the right tree etc.
Haven't done it in years.

Yes, used to take the kids to Frosty Pines here in MI, nice place with rolling hills, good memories. If you find Jimmy Hoffa let us know.

would LOVE to do that but would have about a 6 hr drive to go to NC for a Frasier Fur as we just don't do Cypress or Pine for Christmas.

Off and on over the years we've went to a Christmas tree farm to cut a live tree. The last time was Christmas 2019, when my wife's nieces from Australia were visiting. They seemed to get a kick out of it.

This place has quite a selection of different types of trees...
Fraser, Balsam, Canaan, Siberian and Koreana firs
White and Norway Pines, Silver Spruce and a couple of different hybrids.

Great play area for my fiance's grand kids, hot cocoa and I was very impressed with their system for getting your tree paid for, trimmed and ready to take home.

We got there when the place opened but there was a half-mile line of cars waiting to get in when we left.

The tree is ready for decoration!
