I’ve gotten my trees at Home Depot for the past 20 years.

It was a gorgeous day yesterday (sunny and 50*) so I was up for a different type of experience.

That is a pretty tree! And I like that front window there too.

The stained glass windows were a bargain I found on eBay 20 years ago.

They fit nicely within the existing frames and are hung with hook and eye hardware.

They really brighten the room in the winter with snow outside.

I remember going up North and Dad cruising the Suburban through the mud and snow. Got out, hiked up a hill or 2 then cut down a tree. Funny how those little adventures stick in your mind. Good times.

We have always jumped on the snowmobile and dragged a local tree home out of the nearby bush.
However, after my wife spotted a tick on the dog after visiting someone else with a live tree, sadly, we now have a fake tree.
So, being me, I made a fake tick out of cardboard and put it under the tree. Wife not impressed.

As long as I can draw breath, we will not be doing a fake tree...lol
I said the same thing til my wife found the stupid tick.
I still have a small real one in my shop. And where I live, I'm surrounded by evergreens, pines, cedar everywhere I go.

FAKE CHRISTMAS TREES!!! Oh good grief, even Charlie Brown would not go that low!
Bah Humbug!!! Even as an adult, I LOVED harvesting the perfect tree. Always did when I lived in Atlanta with the ex and her kids.
