The final count down...

In 7 months I'll be 60. I'm typically in the gym at 4:00am 4 days per week (well, I average more like 3 days per week, but the goal is Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri). That means getting up at 3:30, and yes it seems insane even though I do it. But if I don't go at that time, then I won't at all. I know me. My neck and hips still ache even though I'm in pretty good shape for 59. And I'm stiff when I crawl out of bed. But in a couple minutes that goes away. I guess in an unintelligible way I'm saying I'm all in on "The Final Countdown ... "

Anybody else remember that 1986 song by the cheesey Swedish band Europe? Just sayin I guess I'm old 😱
Don’t want to hijack the thread, but who doesn’t remember The Final Countdown? The original video has 1.1 billion views on YouTube. You can probably watch everyday for a year and you will not get through every cover version. Pick any instrument and there is probably a cover version, even kazoos!

I don't want to hijack the thread any more than I already have, although the thread title and the song title are the same ;) I had no idea it is such a phenomenon on youtube! I'm astounded.

Now back to @ULTM8Z

My oldest child (daughter) is 49 this year. That means mathematically you’re young enough to be my….umm..younger brother? 😳 think on the bright side, you’re still on THIS side of the grass! 😂. Happy upcoming birthday!

My daughter will turn 46 this year and I couldn't be prouder.

Mother of 2 boys preparing for college now. Where does the time go?
