Congrats. Way to keep diggin'.
That long road of hard work makes winning that much more sweeter!! Congrats on the win!!
Cool beans!!! Congratulations.
Congratulations!! The first of many I bet.
Pretty cool. I just picked this one up two weeks ago to fix up with my youngest son. We've already fixed all the dash problems and got gauges and lights working. This weekend we're taking out all the interior plastics and console to replace broken ones and re-dye. Look similar, lol?
That's awesome, white with blue has always been my favorite color combo.
I love the white and blue too, as mine gets closer to paint it's getting more tempting. I love that you were able to get her back and have so much fun with your kids. My first car, 79 Berlinetta, went through 3 of my siblings as a first car and tons of stories ranging from hitting a cow to good ole fashioned teenage fun. Unfortunately the last sibling finally crashed it beyond repair but man thinking about that car makes me smile. Congrats and nice job!
Calvert rear suspension
Out with the Rancho 5 leaf springs, Comp Eng shocks and Lakewood bars. In with Calvert split monos, adj 5 way shocks and Cal trac bars. I'm amazed at how the springs have held up after 20 plus years. Even the urathane bushings are in good shape. Not a single bolt or spring nut broke. I thought for sure I would have problems with the front spring bucket hardware but had both sides dropped in an hour or so. Even the rear shackles are rust free.
How has the jegs converter treated you so far? Have a similar setup of engine and Trans as you. Interested to know. Great looking car by the way!
The Jegs converter worked great. I had the trans redone last September and the rebuilder wanted his converter in the case for warranty purposes so the Jegs is gone but I would absolutely use Jegs again.
