This shifter blows all other shifters away, litterally!

I have the same problem, sometimes mine moves sometimes no,there is a little clamp type thing that holds the wire for the indicator if it is'nt adjusted just right the wire binds up in there, and YES the directions that come with them are horrible haha.

By the way that handle you made is way cool.

thanks a lot! i dont remember the indicator being that hard. but mine works. it kinda indicates halfway on the letter/number, and halfway on the bottom of it. almost like its undelining the letter/number.

I may be PMing you to make something like that for me. If so I'll find the grenade. Might be taking a road trip to visit Ryan and Joy so I may have to stop by while I'm up there.

The grenade is cool.... Pretty simple to make compared to an auto shifter knob.

The mortar round might be too heavy.

I'm afraid it may jump out of gear under acceleration/braking/potholes with too much weight on the shifter arm.

Looks good Paul but where is the N20 switch that was on your shifter now?

still got that handle, i took the nitrous off the camaro, need to re-think my plans with it. i need me a manual tranny now, so i can just cruise. not sure i wanna spray anymore.

i understand what you are saying about the wieght. i was lookin at that too. the grenade isnt heavy at all really. and the mortar is only a practice mortar so its not full wieght either. its just an idea, imma play with it.

79HumbleBee. Lol, ''The Roadmen", (car club) have a rat rod with a grenade on a shifter that stands about eye level. They are from Wash. state have you seen it? They were up here last year with lots of rat rods at a show. Great idea.
