    guys im still hung up between getting a new set of 15" wheels/tires or a new look of 17/18"s...im leaning toward the old school look of the 15s...anyway, i want to fill up the wheel well, will 325/50-15 fit??? I have not seen anyone running them quite that big. M/T has a Street /drag radial that is 28x13.5 that comes out the same size, it says it will fit on a 10" rim...what do you think. Here is a link.

    There is a thread elsewhere here regarding this size. I have that exact size on a 15x10 rim with 5-5/8" backspacing. There is a pic in the thread. It fit on the inside with a finger to spare between the tire and the leaf if I remember right. But it did stick out just past the lip of the fender.

    Search function is your friend. I have posted several pics of my car with 325/50-15's on 10" wide rims and it doesnt stick out past the fender.

    Do they fit w/o hammer work.. NO.

    Can you lower the car with them.. NO

    Look at the latest pics I posted about a month ago. I use 5" BS and I have lots of room on the inside. My fender lip is 2 fingers above the tire. It doesnt rub, but could if I hit a huge bump/ G-out, but hasnt happened yet and would be a very rare occurance. I have the stiffer Z28 leafs on the car.

    Only in a drag radial.. MT, BFG, Nitto. Hoosier has them too, but their sizes run much skinnier than standard.

    Biggest street radial tire I have found that fit in a 2nd gen wheel well is the MT SR radials.. 26" or 28X12.5-15 (they fit easily and a nice tire). They are 12.1" wide. A 325/50-15 is about 13.1" sidewall width.

    Here are Budnik Fontana 15X10" wheels with 4" backspace (my rear end is narrowed 1" on each side) with 325/50-15 MT ET Street Drag radials;

    It is a tight squeeze, but with some simple mods, the tire fits within the cars body line with ~3/4" clearance in the inside of the tire. This wouldn't work if the car were lowered. I would like to pull them in another 1/2-1" and use a 12" wide wheel if I could.
